About the Author

Timothy J. Hladky was born in 1961 and lived in South Portland, Maine until 1985.
He now lives in Saint Augustine, Florida right on the coast where he loves to kayak along with his artist wife Eve.

Until a few years ago he used to be a successful racing kayak champion.
Now he enjoys taking in the scenery and wildlife and just taking it easy and paddling just for the fun of it all.

Tim used to play professionally as a kit/set drummer for a living - Funk, R&B, Latin, African. Also he composes songs and records at home; or used to but it is tough to find any companies who will listen to music when sending it out, so he is as yet undiscovered.
Currently Tim plays an African Djembe, Brazilian Surdo, Peruvian Cajon box drum, African Tongue drum & Bongo drums in Maine's largest drumming circle.
Occasionally Tim does some radio voice-over work which is fun as well.

Tim also owns and operates a high end painting business called Landmark Painting, catering to executive homes, historic landmark buildings and churches. He has been doing this for twenty years.

It is Tim's desire to write books full-time.

Aventura has published his first novel A Time to Contemplate, an epic story set in the mid 18th Century about a young boy found by the Inuits and his return to America.

He believes that his novel A Time to Contemplate could become transformed into an exciting and dynamic adventure movie for the big screen.
